IT IS MUCH MORE THAN WHAT WE WOULD SEE IN JULY NOT SEPTEMBER. SEPTEMBER IS USUALLY MUCH MORE CRISP BUT NOT TODAY. WE HAVE BERMAN HE SAID 85, RENSSELAER, 84, SCHAUMBURG AT 83 AND — COMING IN AT 81. FEEL LIKE TEMPERATURES ARE NOT THAT CLOSE TOGETHER. LOW 80s FOR THE ACTUAL TEMPERATURE BUT IT FEELS LIKE 80 DEGREES AT MIDWAY, 88 McHENRY, 86 AURORA, 89 IN MORRIS AND 92 ALREADY AROUND KANKAKEE. WALK OUTSIDE AND MAKE SURE YOU WEAR SHORTS, TANK TALKS TANK TOPS AND T-SHIRTS. YOU MIGHT NEED FLIP-FLOPS TODAY. WE HAVE SHOWERS AND STORMS CHANCES LATER ON TODAY. THAT WILL BE TRANSITIONING EAST AND MAY BRING SHOWERS TO US. THAT WILL BE LATER IN THE AFTERNOON. THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER SAYS THERE’S A CHANCE OF ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS IN THE GREEN SHADED AREA, THAT IS THE MARGINAL RISK NORTH OF I-80. AT NOON TIME, 82 DEGREES SO THE TEMPERATURES KEEP CLIMBING. BACK DOWN TO 82 AT 7:00 WITH STORMS WORKING UP TO THE NORTH THAT START TO DESCEND THROUGH CHICAGOLAND AT ABOUT 1 AM. WE WILL HAVE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORM ACTIVITY AND THERE IS ONCE AGAIN A CHANCE OF RAIN IN THE MIX FOR TOMORROW AS WELL. WHY? SO HOT, SO HUMID. THIS IS A LOOK AT THE DEW POINT FORECAST WAS WHICH TELLS YOU HOW HOT IT FEELS, STICKY TO OPPRESSIVE FOR MOST OF THE DAY TODAY AND TOMORROW. TOMORROW COULD BE JUST THAT LITTLE BIT STICKIER.
