Today on The Stay At Home Chef I’m
showing you how to make The Best Hot Fudge Sauce Hot fudge sauce is so easy
to make. It only requires six ingredients and trust me you’ll never want to go
back to store-bought. You’ll need butter, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar chocolate
chips, a can of evaporated milk and vanilla extract.
Grab a saucepan and a rubber spatula and let’s head on over to the stove. Get your
butter melting over medium-low heat. You don’t even have to wait for the butter
to melt before adding in 2 cups of sugar 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa
powder 2/3 of a cup of chocolate chips and you can use milk chocolate or
semi-sweet. And then 12 ounces of evaporated milk Start stirrings this together and as the mixture heats up
everything will slowly melt together. Now once the butter and the chocolate chips
have melted you’ll increase the heat to medium-high and bring this to a simmer.
You want to let this simmer for exactly seven minutes. I even have my timer going
on my phone so I get that exact seven minutes. Make sure you stir it constantly
so nothing catches. Then after seven minutes we’ll remove it from the heat
then we’ll add in about 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and stir that in. Look at
it bubble. Now you can serve up this hot fudge sauce as is right now but the
secret to a velvety smooth hot fudge is to throw it in a blender. So we’ll just
pour this into our blender and blend on high for 2 minutes Make sure you allow the steam to vent so
you don’t get any added pressure build up and you want to blend it for that
full two minutes. It’ll pump air in there and smooth things out giving you the
most velvety smooth hot fudge ever Then I’m gonna pour mine into a mason
jar because I know we won’t eat this all right away. Whatever you don’t use right
away can be stored in the fridge with the lid on of course for about a month.
And then you’ll just scoop some out to a bowl and microwave it or put it on the
stovetop again to reheat before serving but this is truly delicious. I’m gonna
make myself a little bit of an ice cream sundae Thanks for watching! You can find
