WE HAVE FINALLY GOT SOME WET WEATHER IN THE SOUTHLAND. WE HAVE HEAVIER RAIN MOVING IN OVERNIGHT TONIGHT THROUGH TOMORROW MORNING. THIS IS JUST GREAT NEWS BECAUSE WE NEED TO WET WEATHER. IF YOU LIKE THE HEAT DON’T WORRY IT WILL BE BACK AND EXTENDED FORECAST SO AGAIN THIS IS GOING TO BE SHORT-LIVED BUT AT LEAST WE ARE GETTING SOME WET WEATHER IN THE SOUTHLAND. WE HAVE SKY 2 OVER STUDIO CITY. YOU CAN SEE THE GRAY CLOUDS OUT THERE IN THE RAIN IS COMING DOWN. HEAVIER RAIN IS EXPECTED TO MOVE IN. THAT’S WHERE WE ARE GETTING HEAVIER IN L.A. COUNTY. LET’S ZOOM IN AND YOU CAN SEE WHERE WE ARE NOT HAVING ONLY RAIN BUT FREEZING RAIN AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS IN THE PINK AND PURPLE AROUND THEY WRIGHTWOOD AREA BUT LOOK AT THE 15 AS WE ALSO HAVE HEAVY RAIN MOVING IN. I WAS TALKING EARLIER ABOUT THE HEAVIER CELL THAT WAS ABOUT TO MOVE IN. IT’S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. THERE THEY’RE MOVING IN OFF THE OCEAN WATERS. WE HAVE TROPICAL SOUTHERLY FLOW MOVING HIM AHEAD OF THIS COLD FRONT TO OUR NORTH AND THAT’S PULLING IN ALL THIS MOISTURE. MUCH NEEDED, SOME AREAS WILL GET ONE TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN IN THE MOUNTAIN FOOTHILL LOCATIONS FROM THE COAST OF THE VALLEYS. WE COULD GET ANYWHERE FROM A QUARTER TO A HALF AN INCH OF RAIN. HERE’S THE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE. MOISTURE MOVING IN HEAD OF THE COLD FRONT AND WHAT A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE NEXT TWO DAYS WILL BE IN THE COOL SIDE WITH HIGHS IN THE 60s. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY. WE HAD RECORD HEAT TODAY IN WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES FOR THE MOUNTAINS IN SAN BERNARDINO BUT THIS IS ABOVE 7000 FEET. WE ARE LOOKING AT SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW AND HIGH WIND WARNINGS IN EFFECT. SOUTHWEST WINDS COULD GUST OF 65 MILES AN HOUR IN THE MOUNTAIN AREAS. YOU CAN SEE THE WHERE THE WINDS ARE GUSTING RIGHT NOW. TEMPERATURES TODAY TODAY AND OF THE 70s AND TOMORROW WE WILL BE IN THE 60s ONCE THE FRONT PASSES. TEMPERATURES HAVE COOLED DOWN INTO THE 50s BUT I WANT TO SHOW YOU WHERE AND WHEN WE WILL SEE THE WEATHER. HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT INTO TOMORROW MORNING MAINLY AND VENTURA COUNTIES AND NOT MOVING INTO THE INLAND EMPIRE UNTIL AROUND 2:00 A.M.. THIS WILL TAKE YOU TO YOUR MORNING COMMUTE BUT BY TOMORROW AFTERNOON WE WILL BE COMPLETELY CLEAR. WE WILL HAVE SUNNY SKIES BY LUNCHTIME TOMORROW. I’M JUST SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS FORECAST I COULDN’T WAIT. WE HAVE CLEARING SKIES IN THAT EXTENDED FORECAST.
