see whether laughs here’s Rob’s forecast welcome back well feeling good out there once again this evening gotta love this time of year where you still don’t need the air conditioner on the vehicle you can drive down with the windows open even during the day sometimes I cheat and put the a/c on but the windows down as well and that’s the type of weather we have for another day or two before the humidity will be on the rise some changes this weekend and it does include some rain chances but we’re not looking at a nasty weekend like last weekend or though maybe the weekend before it’s been an ongoing series for us so let’s go ahead take a look at the big picture across to the lower 48 and we have some minor systems across the region that weak low pressure system that was over by El Paso has pretty much weakened and fallen apart a little bit of a ridge over here in the Four Corners area but this is gonna be a big weather maker out here in the Pacific and more Energy’s gonna follow and one this is going to deliver a heavy rainfall all the way down through SoCal and then eventually delivers a severe weather threat a multi-day severe weather threat from Texas through the high plains starting Friday and continuing well into next week we’ll show you that in just a bit meanwhile across the region generally fair skies all the rivers in flood stage from Arkansas down through Mississippi and through Southeast Texas so we could certainly use the dry weather farther south and east has been kind of stormy way out in the central Gulf of Mexico that’s heading mainly for Florida and our weather staying fine thank you thanks to this ridge of high pressure that’s going to stick around for several more days temperatures while the ICAST data is a little cool but will favour lower 60s tonight then tomorrow we’ll get into the mid to upper 80s a lunchtime temperature right around 81 82 and it looks like it’ll be nice for drive time tomorrow evening maybe just a few Fairweather clouds out there quiet again tomorrow night as that high-pressure Ridge hangs tough for at least another day into Thursday with temperatures creeping up knows that feels like temperature a little bit warmer for Thursday but by-and-large still a very nice day Thursday going into Friday we start to see a little bit more of a southerly flow as we switch over to the European model but still fair to partly cloudy skies during the day we go into Saturday maybe a few popup showers and it starts to get still for me out in the West all these big storms severe weather heading mainly to the north tail end of a frontal boundary pushes into Louisiana Sunday but I’m not sold on pretty high rain chances quite yet we’re gonna go 50% for Sunday and then as we get into next week maybe a few showers as we go throughout the week but what we don’t see on this long-range forecast other than another maybe chance of rain next Wednesday no cold fronts in our future and that may be it for the rest of the spring we’ll have to wait and see rainfall washed away piles up across the plains more heavy rain into the Missouri River Valley Red River as well so that’ll keep the water levels high coming down the red and the Mississippi eventually and pretty good range for the west coast as well not much rain here locally expected maybe a half inch with those storms on Sunday if we’re lucky upper 50s to near 60 tonight this is the good stuff near 60 or lower 60s i-10 corridor we’ll go a little bit milder and Lafayette and lower 60s along the coast Cameron the mild is spot right by the water then after that cool start temperatures warming up nicely tomorrow afternoon getting into the mid 80s with wall-to-wall sunshine should be a gorgeous day so another nice night clear skies out there we’ll go 63 the low and Lafayette so a nice start to the day tomorrow we stay on a roll pass the butter mostly sunny skies comfortable humidity 86 your high as we go down the road notice the temperatures creeping up where there’s that slight rain chance Saturday Sunday a 50% chance of showers and storms I think the severe weather threats stay away from us as well and then going into next week lots of upper 80s pushing 90 and overnight lows getting into the soupy mid said oh boy here we go
