CINDY: I GOOD FRIDAY TO YOU. ANOTHER COLD START OUT THERE. GET ALL THE SINGLE DIGITS EARLY
THIS MORNING. THIS IS WITH THE COLD. WE WILL MODERATE TEMPERATURES
ABOVE FREEZING, WHICH WE HAVE
NOT BEEN SINCE MONDAY. THIS WEEKEND, CLOSE TO 40
DEGREES, CLOSE TO 50 MONDAY. SHOULD BE IN THE LOW 40’S THIS
TIME OF YEAR, SO MORE SEASONAL
TEMPERATURES AHEAD AS THIS DIP
IN THE JET STREAM PULLS AHEAD
THIS WEEKEND. AS WE GET TO THE MIDDLE AND END
OF NEXT WEEK, LOOK WHERE THE JET
STREAM MIGHT BE, WAY UP IN
CANADA. THAT WILL DRAW MILD AIR. WE MAY BE LOOKING AT
TEMPERATURES APPROACHING 60 BY
THE END OF NEXT WEEK. OUR TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON,
MID TO UPPER 30’S. BOSTON SNEAKING UP TO 38
DEGREES. WE SHOULD HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF
SUNSHINE WITH INCREASING CLOUDS
FROM TIME TO TIME THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON. ONCE WE GET TOWARD NOONTIME,
WIND IS COMING FROM THE
SOUTHWEST. THAT IS A MILD WIND DIRECTION ON
THE BACKSIDE OF HIGH PRESSURE. THIS HIGH-PRESSURE ALSO ALLOWING
THE SYSTEM TO STAY TWO HOURS
SOUTH. YOU SEE SNOW APPROACHING D.C.. ANOTHER SYSTEM BACK TOWARD THE
ROCKIES TODAY, JUST ORGANIZING. THIS AREA OF LOW PRESSURE PULLS
TOWARD US SUNDAY. THAT WILL BRING US MESSY
WEATHER. TONIGHT, WE HAVE A FEW CLOUDS
SOUTH OF THE PIKE THROUGH THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS. WE WILL CALL IT PARTLY CLOUDY. TEMPERATURES CHILI —
TEMPERATURES COLD. SATURDAY, LOOKS GREAT. SUNSHINE, MILDER, A FEW
INCREASING CLOUDS IN THE
AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES TOPPING 40 IN MOST
SPOTS, CLOSE TO 44 IN TAUNTON. SUNDAY, THE STORM SYSTEM IN THE
ROCKIES MAKES ITS WAY TOWARD THE
GREAT LAKES. THAT WILL BRING IN SNOW, AS IT
WILL BE COLD ENOUGH DURING THE
MORNING HOURS. THEN IT WILL PULL MILDER AIR. WE’LL CHANGE TO SLEET AND RAIN. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A LOT OF
SNOW, A QUICK BURST IN THE
MORNING, BUT ENOUGH TO MAKE
THINGS MESSY SUNDAY. NORTHERN KNOWINGLY AND WILL HOLD
ONTO PRIMARILY SNOW, SKI COUNTRY
GETTING SNOW. FOR US, IT LOOKS LIKE AN INCH OR
TWO. YEP TO GO NORTH OF ROUTE 2 TO
FIND A COUPLE OF INCHES. A QUICK CHANGE TO RAIN. A LOT OF THAT WILL BE WASHED
AWAY IN THE AFTERNOON AS THE
RAIN COMES DOWN. IF YOU ARE IN THE WORCESTER
AREA, BY 6:00 IN THE MORNING,
THE SNOW WILL GET STARTED AND
SPREAD EASTWARD. WE’RE LOOKING AT A BURST OF SNOW
THROUGH 10:00 IN THE MORNING. BY THE CAPE, LOOK AT THAT RAIN
LINE LIFTING NORTHWOOD. — NORTHWARD. EVERYONE SEES THAT CHANGE TO
RAIN IN THE AFTERNOON. SHOWERS TAPER OFF SUNDAY NIGHT. HERE COMES THAT DRY WEATHER NEXT
WEEK AND MILDER TO. WE DO SPRING FORWARD THIS
WEEKEND, DAYLIGHT SAVING TIM
