HASN’T HAPPENED SINCE 2000. BUT IT ALSO WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN UNTIL 2049. AND THE BEST TIME TO SEE THE HARVEST MOON, WHAT DANIELLE? RIGHT AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. IT’S OFFICIALLY FULL AND IT LIKE RISES AT 7:00. IT’S GOING TO LOOK TECHNICALLY THE SAME. WE GET VERY TECHNICAL. EVEN THOUGH OFFICIALLY IT’S AT APOGEE. IT MEANS IT’S 14% SMALLER. I’M SORRY, CAN YOU USE THAT IN A SENTENCE PLEASE? JUST LOOK AT THE MOON TONIGHT OKAY AND CROSS YOUR FINGERS YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE GOOD LUCK. ALL THE SCIENTISTS. NITPICK I CAN. FRIDAY THE 13th STUFF. 56 IN BOSTON RIGHT NOW AND WENT OUT OF THE NORTH AT 8 MILES PER HOUR. IT’S A MUCH COOLER START AND YOU STEP OUTSIDE THIS MORNING AND YOU FEEL THE DIFFERENCE COMPARED TO THIS TIME YESTERDAY. WHEN WE HAD 60s AND 70S. WE GOT 40s AND 40s ON THE MAP RIGHT NOW AND DEW POINTS IN THE 40s RIGHT NOW. NICE DRY CRISP FALLISH AIR IN PLACE RIGHT NOW. THE LITTLE BIT OF FOG QUARTER MILE VISIBILITY. IT’S DENSE FROM BEDFORD TO KEENE RIGHT NOW. THIS FOG WILL BURN OFF FOR MOST OF US BY 8:00 A.M. SATELLITE AND RADAR QUIET. WE HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY BACK INTO MICHIGAN TO ENCOUNTER SOME SHOWERS AND DOWNPOURS. THEY’RE PUSHING RIGHT THROUGH CHICAGO THIS MORNING. AND THAT’S WHAT THE FRONT THAT WILL ARRIVE FOR US BY THE TIME WE GET TO LATER ON TOMORROW. SO HIGH PRESSURE IS STILL HANGING ON TODAY. BRIGHT SUNSHINE AND FEW CLOUDS MIXED IN. 65 TO 70 FOR MOST OF US. NICE LOW HUMIDITY IN PLACE. THE DEW POINT WILL START TO CREEP UP TOMORROW. BUT THE HUMIDITY STILL IN CHECK. FOR OUR SATURDAY IS WE START WITH SOME SUN IN THE MORNING AND END UP WITH INCREASING CLOUDS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. TOMORROW WILL BE A DRY DAY OUTDOOR PLANS ARE GOOD. LOT OF WEDDINGS TOMORROW I KNOW A LOT OF SPORTS EVENTS. CONCERTS WE’RE TALKING ABOUT JUST A SLIGHT RISK OF A SHOWER. GENERALLY AFTER 8:00 P.M. AND THEN ON SUNDAY MORNING, WE MAY GET A LINGERING SHOWER EARLY BETWEEN ABOUT 7:00 AND 9:00 ON CAPE COD. BEFORE CLEARING COMES IN AND WE’RE GOING TO BE IN THE 80s ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON. SO WE TICK UP THE TEMPERATURE A LITTLE BIT EACH DAY. 65 TO 70 TODAY. ABOUT 64 IN BOSTON. SO COOLER THAN AVERAGE AND WIND OFF THE OCEAN GUSTING OCCASIONALLY TO 20 MILES PER HOUR. SOME CLOUDS LATE TONIGHT TO PREDAWN TOMORROW. WIDESPREAD 40s IN THE SUBURBS AGAIN AND 54 DOWNTOWN. HIGHS TOMORROW VERY PLEASANT. 76 IN BOSTON. 77 IN NORWOOD AND MANY OF US LOWER TO MIDDLE 70s INCLUDING CAPE COD TOMORROW. SUN AND INCREASING CLOUDS. IT TURNS JUST SLIGHTLY MUGGY ON SUNDAY WE’RE GOING TO BE RIGHT AROUND 80 DEGREES FOR MOST OF US. 70s ON THE CAPE AFTER THE EARLY MORNING SHOWER. MEANWHILE WATCHING A POTENTIAL TROPICAL CYCLONE MOVING THROUGH THE BAHAMAS RIGHT NOW AND HAS 30-MILE-PER-HOUR WINDS SO NOT ALL THAT IMPRESSIVE. BUT IT’S MOVING NORTHWEST AND IT IS FORECAST TO STRENGTHEN OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AND COULD BECOME A TROPICAL DEPRESSION OR STORM IN THE NEXT DAY OR SO. IF IT DOES IT WOULD BECOME HUMBERTO AND RIGHT NOW TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS ARE UP FOR THE NORTHWEST BAHAMAS WITH TROPICAL STORM WATCHES THAT HAVE JUST MINUTES BEING BEEN EXTENDED FROM JUPITER BACK UP TO DAYTONA BEACH NOW ON THE EAST COAST OF FLORIDA. WE’LL BE WATCHING THIS THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. IT’S FORECAST TODAY STRENGTHEN AS A TROPICAL STORM THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND AND THEN SLOWLY CURVE OUT TO SEA OFF THE COASTLINE OF THE CAROLINAS HEADING INTO THE START OF NEXT WEEK. FOR US HERE AT HOME, LOW TO MID- 70s START OF NEXT WEEK LOOKING DRY AS WELL.
