TAKE A LOOK AT THOSE RAIN TOTALS. THAT WAS OVER TWO HOURS IN THE EVENING YESTERDAY. .96 INCHES OF RAIN, JUST UNDER ONE INCH. PRETTY INCREDIBLE. WE WILL CHECK IF THAT WAS A NEW RECORD. OVER TWO HOURS FROM ONE THUNDERSTORM THAT WORKED THROUGH AND DROPPED A FUNNEL CLOUD. WE SAW A QUARTER OF AN INCH OF RAIN IN PORTLAND. A STORY A CLOSE 2.4 INCHES OF RAIN. — ASTORIA CLOSE TO .4 INCHES OF RAIN. A QUICK LOOK AT A NEW PODCAST ON OUR WEATHER OUTLOOK. WE ARE LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM THE NEW SEASON. WE HAVE NOT BEEN DRIVING THROUGH FOG FOR A FULL SEASON, SO SOMETHING TO WATCH OUT FOR GOING INTO THIS MORNING AND TOMORROW MORNING. IN PORTLAND, SIX DEGREES RIGHT NOW. NOT SEEING MUCH FOG YET. WE ARE IN THE UPPER 50’S. HERE IS OUR SATELLITE AND RADAR. OUR LATEST TROUGH HAS MOVED OUT OF THE REGION AND WE ARE SEEING SCATTERED SHOWERS TOWARD PENDLETON. THOSE WILL MOVE OUT. A PRETTY QUIET DAY FOR US. WE WILL SEE CLOUDS BACKING UP BY THE AFTERNOON AND WE SHOULD TOP OUT WITH PARTLY SUNNY SKIES. WE ARE WATCHING THIS UPPER-LEVEL SYSTEM OFFSHORE. THAT WILL SCOOT IN AS WE HEAD TOWARD FRIDAY MORNING. A COLD FRONT WILL LIKELY BRING A BIT OF RAINFALL BACK TO THE REGION AS WE HEAD TOWARD OUR FRIDAY. TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY, WE WILL SEE SOME NICE AFTERNOON WHETHER, PLEASANT TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 70’S TO 80 DEGREES HEADING INTO TOMORROW. THERE IS THAT FRONT THAT WORKS IN. WE WILL POSSIBLY SEE SOME SHOWERS. THAT WILL LINGER INTO OUR FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY. BY SUNDAY, WE ARE WATCHING FOR ANOTHER FRONT THAT MAY BRING HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
