SUITCASE. SO HORRIBLE TO SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING THERE, AND HERE, WE HAVE OUR OWN WILD WEATHER. FORTUNATELY, NO LOSS OF LIVES. BUT SOME FLOODING. KELLEY: YES FLOODING, AND SOME CONFIRMED TORNADOES ON SUNDAY, BUT NO FATALITIES. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS PHOTO FROM YESTERDAY, FLOODING OUT THANKS TO BILL WHO SENT THIS IN. THOSE CAR HEADLIGHTS ARE ON, SO THAT WAS TRYING TO DRIVE THROUGH THE FLOODED ROADWAY, AND ADVISED NOT TO DO SO AS WE SEE MORE OF THIS ACTION GOING INTO OUR SEPTEMBER, AND OCTOBER. WE WILL GET SOME ACTIVE WEATHER AND THAT WILL INCLUDE TODAY. SOME THUNDERSTORMS POPPING UP THAT COULD DROP VERY HEAVY RAINFALL UP AND DOWN THE VALLEY HERE. THAT IS SOMETHING WE WILL WATCH WITH A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ALL AROUND THE STATE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. EVEN SOME HIGH TOPPED CLOUDS, YOU CAN SEE THAT ROLLING INTO THE GORGE, BUT ALSO SOME SUNSHINE, TOO. TEMPERATURE IS NOW IN PORTLAND IN THE MID-60’S, AND MANY IN THE VALLEY ARE ALSO IN THE MID-60’S. YOU MAY GET HIT WITH SHOWERS AT TIMES. I WAS DRIVING OUTSIDE ABOUT AN HOUR AGO, I RAN INTO SOME SHOWERS. JUST TAKE A LOOK AT HOW SCATTERED THE SHOWERS ARE IN THE REGION. THAT IS SOMETHING WE WILL BE TRACKING GOING IN TO TODAY. STILL SOME PRETTY ACTIVE OR HEAVIER RAIN CELLS AROUND THE GRESHAM AREA, IN THE GORGE, AND UP TOWARDS THE FOOTHILLS OF MT. HOOD. WE WILL BE WATCHING. I THINK WE COULD SEE SOME CHANCE FOR STORMS OR EVEN PORTLAND BY TONIGHT, SO THIS MODEL DOES PULL AND HEAVIER THUNDERSTORMS AND STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS BY TONIGHT, BUT BY TOMORROW MORNING, WE DRY OUT HERE. AND WE WILL LIKELY GET SOME THUNDERSTORMS. DRIER CONDITIONS FOR OUR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY BEFORE WE SEE SOME CHANGES AGAIN ON FRIDAY, WATCHING ANOTHER SYSTEM WITH A FRONT THAT MAY BRING IN MORE RAINFALL JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND. WE WILL WATCH THE SECOND SYSTEM THAT COMES IN AS WE HEAD TOWARDS FRIDAY. OVER THE WEEKEND, WE DO KEEP THE SCATTERED SHOWERS AROUND, SO IT STILL FEELS LIKE FALL IS HERE. MID 60’S AT THE COAST TODAY, AND WE WILL SEE SOME SUN BREAKS, LINCOLN CITY EARLIER THIS MORNING, AND SEEING SOME NICE, SUNNY WEATHER OUT THERE. WE WILL SEE A MIX OF CLOUDS, SOME SUN BREAKS, AND ISOLATED SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY THUNDERSTORMS AS WELL FOR THE EVENING. TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 60’S AND ALSO THE CHANCE FOR SOME SCATTERED STORMS TODAY, AND THE GORGE TURNING SUNNY. TEMPERATURES IN THE 70’S GOING INTO TODAY. HERE IS THE SEVEN-DAY FORECAST, A LITTLE WARMER, A LITTLE DRIER, BY TOMORROW AND THURSDAY. WE WILL LIKELY START OUT WITH FOG ON THE ROADWAYS. JENNY: THE RAIN YESTERDAY, I WAS AT HOME GOODS, AND I WAS LIKE THE PERSON WAS THE UMBRELLA FLIPPED THE OTHER WAY. [LAUGHTER] KELLEY: HEAVY RAIN, BRING THE UMBRELLAS AND YOU WILL WANT THE RAIN JACKETS. JENNY: WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK.
