wiring the sensors and connecting to the header pins makes it more easy to place everything inside the housing and later on replace parts during mainteinance so we need couple cables for the status led… another 4 to plug the bme pressure sensor… 5 cables for the light sensor (1750)… then 6 more cables for the anemometer, wind vane and rain gauge… 2 cables will go from the 2 central RJ11 connectors to the header pins on the board for the anemometer sensor… another 2 cables will go from the 2 outer RJ11 connectors on the same side of the jack to the header pins on the board for the wind vane sensor… the last pair of cables go from the two central RJ11 connector (other side) to the pluviometer (a.k.a. rain gauge) header pins you dont need to care about polarity on none of these 3 pairs of cables, just connect it on the board and you will be ok this is the actual light sensor I recommend using the 1750 model that works out of the box with the arduino sketch this one is the bme280 for the pressure, temperature and humidity. The 1750 and this one, both have the pinout that exactly matches the one on the board for simplicity. this is the HC05 that also works out of the box with the provided sketch, I recommend using this model plug the arduino, load the sketch from the project website (openweatherstation.com) and upload it to the board… you can enable the serial output to see if its all ok once loaded… download the free Open Weather Station android app to start receiving data from the module… once downloaded follow this steps to set up the station… open the android bluetooth settings and pair with the arduino module (usually the password is 1234) head back to the app and touch the refresh icon to list the paired device… click on the listed device to set it as the default module for the application and start to receiving data… the bluetooth icon will change as the station is successfully connected… you can open a raw data monitor to see what is arriving… then head back to the main screen to enjoy the weather charts… use the left menu options to access more settings like sending the data to Wunderground, Windguru, Thingspeak, Openweathermap or your custom server… See full project details, source code and detailed instructions at: openweatherstation.com
